Many people in Nepal has no habit of brushing teeth daily. Because the children have a more modern life, eating junck food or drinking cold drinks, it will be necessary that they learn how to brush their teeth. Nepali Children Foundation organizes small awareness program to improve this habit. She is doing it by playing and giving basics information. Learning by playing is the device. Everytime this program is organized by same dentist, hygienist and nursus. At the end of the program Nepali Children Foundation provides two brushes: one is for brushing at school after tiffin and the other for brushing at home. Of course Nepali Children Foundation will provide tooth paste and brushed for long time. To keep going on with this program we need donations. At the countryside of Pokhara is a small village. At this village is a small school with only 31 students. All come from financial poor families. Most of them get also little food and are hungry when they come to school. How can you focus on study when you are hungry? From november 2019 Nepali Children Foundation provides tiffin at this school. She hopes that is will motivate students to participate the schoolprogram regular and schoolresults will improve. Nepali Children Foundation hopes that is will support them to control their lives. For this program Nepali Children Foundation collected money till February 2021. But she wants to go on. Sometimes people contact Nepali Children Foundation to distribute clothes. By our network we know which children need these clothes most. Even it will not improve their lives, we will support by this way. Of course it must be nice looking clothes, not dirty or damaged. Because transportation costs are huge, we advice not to send clothes. In stead of transportation costs we can buy clothes. It will also be helpful to locals. From the beginning of Corona, Nepal government anounced lockdown. The economic impact is huge: no jobs, no social and financial support maked a humanitarian crises at Nepal. People are very very hungry. Also Nepali Children Foundation is directly affected because all their sources of income are minimalized. Therefore her idea to be completely independent of donations must be skipped this year
From 24 March 2020, the first day of a fully lockdown, the moment that all borders are closed, no tourists are coming into Nepal, no flights out of Nepal, no import of food from other countries, Nepali Children started two different ways to gain money to help needy people and to pursue all her work.
